My wife and I did our first 50 mile tandem ride today and it was great. Took about 3 1/2 hours all told. Soon we'll have to start doing some hills...

Congratulations! The weekend we received our tandem, we had planned on doing a 50 mile group ride. After taking our 'maiden' voyage the day before, our second tandem ride was 50 miles! We quickly learned what 'butt breaks' are!
