Mountain Biking - What do you all think?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I like the frame and that Marzocchi fork, no front brake though. (were you the one talking about not having a front brake?)

I don't like those treks, but that's a nice bike. Rear-only brake is cool, but it's pointless when you run a front derraileur (or is that part of the chainguide), since a cable comes from that side for shifting anyway.

I do have the front deraileur(sp), I only took out the front brake because mine is bent at the moment and I haven't replaced it yet, and madbiker, that was me posting about not having a front brake before.

Where is "Should I make my own decisions and quit making polls about my bike?"

It's not really a dirt jumper bike. I don't have any dirt jumps around here, I actually use it mostly urban.

alright well i can rephrase. I am not very fond of urban/dirt jumper bikes. The ones with a smaller frame. It looks nice though

One thing I will say is that the saddle and the fork suck. You should send them to me so I can set them straight. I do this free of charge.

The Brusier 2, very nice ride, I was going to be all over it this year, and then they came out with that fricken ugly blue, I was tempted to get a Brusier 1, and update it, just to have the flat black frame, but I went with the 4300 this year instead, and hopefully the 2 will have a better paint scheme next year. Nice bike though, my buddy has last years 2, and it's a blast very nice to balance, and hop on the back tire.
No me gusta las bicicletas de Trek.

Raiyn, why don't you like Treks or toilet paper? O and Trekkie, I was just wondering everyone elses opinion, it's not like I am going to turn around and sell the bike if someone says they dont like it.

I DO like T.P. Treks just never feel good to me and to me they handle like a dumptruck

Did anyone realise this is an older thread from the past year?

I think that many "riders" (I use that term very loosely) spend too much obsessing about their ride instead of focusing on what matters, the ride.

I've been obsessing about riding the past few days, just haven't been able to since I kind of got a concussion on Tuesday.

Naah I usually let threads from within a year slide. Anything over two years though :crash:
