My Best Fiend - Herzog again. His documentary about his strange and trying relationship with actor Klaus Kinski. They made 5 movies together. I've seen 3 of them so far. All excellent. Kinski was truely a nut job. But a brilliant one!

I enjoyed Collateral too. Great movie. More so for Jamie Foxx than Cruise. Then Foxx went and did that gawd awful Stealth. He musta had bills to pay.

Grindhouse: Planet Terror ~ A very cool, very juicy chemical zombie movie. With some over the top FX.

I watched The Departed over the weekend. That was a great movie. It deserved every award it got.

I dont know many others who have seen this movie and enjoyed it like myself. It was a very good movie. I found myself relating to it quite a bit.

A couple from the weekend for me

Apocalypto - Mel Gibsons personal life aside and the griping that historians made about this movie didnt dull it one bit for me. I really liked it. It was a visual feast.

Wild Hogs - I laughed more than i should have. I am ashamed. :p

6 viewings in as many days. Just wow.

Watching the wormhole sequence while riding the trainer is akin to the scene in Dumb and Dumber when Lloyd starts pretending he's running while he's sitting in the truck.

Ok - I watched Fido over the weekend. Pretty funny. Carrie Anne Moss is smoking hot even when she isnt wearing skin tight leather.

I also watched Disc One of Long Way 'Round. Obi Wan Kenobi on a round the world motorcycle trip his mate, Charlie Boorman (father directed Excaliber, among others). It's pretty interesting stuff. Amazing how even in the middle of nowhere in Khazakstan, they know who Ewan MacGregor is.

Hot Fuzz...meh, a few chuckles but mostly tedious especially the infernal shootout/ action sequences toward the end.

The outtakes are very funny especially when the ever proper, Shakespearian trained Timothy Dalton curses like a street vagrant.
