Well summer is coming soon and i decided to make some dirtjumps in my backyard. Seeing as how im still fairly new to DJing im thinkin just some jumps not to big really maybe like 3 feet high or so. Any advice on how to build them...what kind of dirt? how far apart? any other advice?

I'd stay start by making a jump with no landing, make it kinda small. Just experiment with slopes. Dont make it too steep or it'll be hard to hit.

If you have a tractor that helps out alot (like with a bucket that will lift about 3/4 ton). I have a tractor and i usually make a big pile, sculpt the landing with the bucket, and sculpt the jumo with shovels. Experiment with different gaps, pitches, and sizes. It may take a couple crashes to get the perfect jump for you.

Dont make dirt bumps like madman. They need to be big enough so that you both of your wheels can be on the jump at the same time.

Depends how much air you want and stuff though. Jumps like Madman's are fine if you dont want a great deal of air. And you can get a lot more height on a lippy jump thats short than a ramp style jump thats long.
