Hello everyone,

I'm thinking of upgrading my setup to a complete disc setup...My frame and fork are ok for this...

I believe I will need the following:
Wheels that are disc type
Disc brake package

Anything I am missing?

Can anyone recommend a good brake and also a relatively inexpensive set of wheels (front / back)?

Thanks,
LIP

Well... Cables probably.

Avid brakes are good, the mechanical ones. If you get hydraulic youll also have to get new levers and definetly cables.

Pricepoint.com sells some wheels that are disc compatible for about $100.

Madman- Pretty much all hydros come with levers and cables, even prebled, with the exception of shimano.

JensonUSA has a solid wheelset for $89. If you already have decent levers, avid BB7 mechanical discs are 69 a piece. Jenson has Avid Juicy 5 hydraulics for only $99 per brake, including lever and hose, prebled. Great deal for some quality brakes.
