i have owned a couple of cannondale hybrids (currently a '00 H300,) but have never been a serious rider until recently. i signed up to do this year's California AIDS/LifeCycle, which is a 585-mile, 7 day ride from San Francisco to LA to support San Francisco AIDS Foundation and Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation.
i've been training my ass off (literally... i've lost 40 pounds in 4 months,) and have a way to go with both my training and fundraising. i lost two uncles (and important role models) about 10 years ago to AIDS, so this is a cause close to my heart.
