Since i built my front wheel in January it has been nothing but problems! First the people screwed up my order. I kept getting wrong guage spokes no matter who i ordered from. Well for a while my wheel has been a combination of different guages and different sizes. The spoc calc from DT told me 266, but im using washers so I like to go a little under so i went 265. It seemed then they were a bit too long, odd since their spoccalc has never failed me. Well since then ive made it a habit of ordering spokes 1mm short of what they say. So i decided i would look for spokes in 263mm.
Well i was browsing Cambria bike and i found the same spokes i wanted in the first place for .35cents a piece!!! Thats 1.8/1.5/1.8mm Ritchey logic short butted spokes. WOw wow, so I ordered them and they included brass free of charge. Hopefully come thursday i will finally have a true wheel at last. Woo hoo
