Is there going to be any problem with putting a new compact crank instead of the stock 53/39 ?
The crank is FSA Gossamer compact 50/34.Will it need a new BB ?
A new front der.? or anything else ?

Thanks in advance
Carmel.

To me that's a major part of the attraction of a compact crank. I was considering putting a triple on my Klein but I didn't want to buy all of the parts that I considered necessary to do a workmanlike job. I got an FSA Energy crank with octolink interface because it matched my existing bottom bracket. It gave me the easier hill gears that I needed, I gave up a couple of big gears that I never used, and I didn't have to buy anything else. My front derailleur works just fine.

Carmel. Not knowing what BB is in the frame and what the FSA interface is,no one here can know about the BB. Maybe details would help? No need for a new FD if you currently have a double FD.
