Just joined your forum 'cause it looks like you guys know what you're talking about. I just bought a couple vintage schwinn bikes on ebay and know nothing about them. I got into this when contemplating whether or not to transform my Kon "Koa" mountain bike into a single speed. The bike is too small for me so I thought I'd make it more "comfortable". When I realized it would cost a pretty penny I thought I'd just pick up a sweet vintage. And here I am. I am going to customize one and try and leave the other original. So, I will be asking a lot of questions in the near future. Thanks for the great forum.
