I know this is a XC bike but how hard can you ride? Meaning how big can you go on the bike? I know it is not a true "free Ride" set up but what has been your expereience on it?

I haven't ridden it, but I know that if you ride a xc bike too hard they will break. They aren't meant to be slammed like that.
but of course, as my boss pointed out, my bike (which is also xc and I want to jump it) has a lifetime warranty on the frame, so the only thing I really need to worry about is wheels I guess, and probably the fork.

As long as you're not trying to do DJ or wooden stunts on it it will handle most of what FL has to offer terrain-wise.

The Epic is a true XC bike and is not made to take a serious pounding. If you're thinking of doing a lot of aggressive XC/all mountain riding, I'd look elsewhere.
