The components seem strong, but (and this is not a troll, merely ignorance,) does Diamondback make high end bikes?

Sounds like the one I was looking at Dick's Sporting Goods. Only, they only had it marked down to $439. I wasn't quite willing to spend that much just yet. Plus, I had never heard of them. Definitely can't be any worse than my Mongoose Tech-4 I picked up for $299. Only, now I'm adding the extra money anyway to upgrade the shifters. Stupid me!

Where did you pick it up for that price?

Dave

Thats a good deal on the Diamondback Topanga Comp. Plus Speed Stack lemon lime to drink in the cooler. Very good deal.

You got a sick deal! Those components rock for $320. Great tires too. Like the color also. I was surprised to see disc brakes as well. Enjoy that thing.

The one I was thinking was a full-suspension bike. I think it was a XC style frame and suspension. It was on sale for $439. I'm kicking myself for not getting that instead of my Mongoose Tech 4. For $299, it's not a bad deal and I like the bike except for the shifter setup. Which now I'm upgrading. Spending the same money and it seems Diamondback is looked on a little better here than Mongoose. :(

Good choice!
