I've been to my user control panel. And I have standard editor checked. So how do I insert smilies in a message? Just where are they at in the message box?
Thanks

Use the red "Reply" link in the post you are replying to or use the "Go Advanced" button when composing a message (before you type your message) The Smilies will be obvious to you on the right side of your screen. Just click on one and it will be inserted at the point where your cursor is.

To prevent stuff from being parsed use
and the corresponding end tag.

I see nothing on the right side of my screen. I'm looking for more than the basic :D

I used to have smilies a while back, but I can't seem to find them anymore.

Hehe. You need the
as well silly. The funny thing is when you quote someone who has omitted the end tag, it suddenly acts as if it was there.
