How do I get my picture to show under my name at the left with the other info as location, posts etc? I have made a link in my profile to a picture Iīve put on my homepage, yet it donīt show up. Why?

You don't have enough posts yet. I think the number is 50 you need to qualify to change your avitar.

I think it's more like a minimum of 100 posts to get the option to put what ever you want under your name

The avatar has to be 64x64 pixels or less. Is the one you linked to perhaps larger? You have to have been a member for 30 days and have at least 100 posts for custom user text but there is no minimum for an avatar.

OK I have made it a little smaller, keeping it under 64*64 dots. Lets see if it works...

It says:
If you have more than 0 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar.

Must bee my link? No canīt be as I can download the picture from my webpage using the same link...

Picture is .jpg, shouldenīt that work?

i managed to use a custom avatar as soon as I registered.

who is your website hosted by?
some hosts dont allow people to link to images.

dont link to the image.

assuming you have the image on your hard drive upload it from there.

control panel.
edit options.
change avatar.
upload an avatar from your computer.

then find the pic on your hard drive, click on it and submit modifications.

The pic seems to be 56x85 (when I right-click to see its properties, that's what it says). It has to be 64x64 or less, as Dirtgrinder pointed out.
