For me there's too many to list, but I've got a few that stand out:
Dirty Three @ Crystal Ballroom
String Cheese Incident @ Horning's Hideout
Gong @ WOW Hall
Fat Mama in Boulder, CO
Grateful Dead @ Autzen Stadium
Darn my faulty memory bank. Can't remember much, but some that come to mind:
Joe Strummer @ Metro Chicago - He was the man, no doubt about it.
Rage Against The Machine, Kool Keith, Scratch Picklz, many others @ Coachella a few years back - All day insanity.
Some of the many indie rock or hip hop shows at Empty Bottle, Double Door, Bottom Lounge:
- Electric Six
- White Stripes
- New Pornographers
- A.C. Newman
- MF Doom

Metallica(Jerry Cantrell opened)-second row seats, baby! I could feel the heat of the pyro.
Ozzfest '99 (Black Sabbath reunion tour w/Rob Zombie, Static-X, Fear Factory, etc.) Sweet! Of course, Sabbath was the best part. Amazing how coherent Ozzy is when he gets on stage....
Both these shows were at Starwood Amphitheater in Antioch, TN.

My Bloody Valentine-Hammerjacks, Baltimore MD
The Jesus Lizard-DC Space & the old 9:30 club
Urge Overkill-the old 9:30 club
Definitely Erika Badu. She is just awesome in concert, and she's very entertaining too. She sometimes brings out the funkiest looking instrumets and plays them for some of her songs, and that's cool. At one point, she was dating one of the dudes from Outkast (can't remember which one) and she brought him out on stage to sing, and the crowd went wild. It was all good.
Jamiroquai- the lead singer, Jason, is just such a great singer live. He is also very entertaining. I love acid jazz, so when he gets into the acid jazz stuff, I really dig them even more. Dude that plays digeridoo just jams hard.
Incognito- snap, snap, and more snap. They are really great singers, whether they're acapella or with the full band. Bluey likes to change the members but keep the songs, and no matter how many times he changes the singers, they still sound just as good as the original Incognito. They lost their American label, but I still hold out hope they'll get a new label and come back and do some more touring.

I saw Lowell George too. He was great.
In fact, I've seen a lot of those bands.
And many a dead concert.

:) Yeah, I've found this is often the case... All my firsts were so memorable. KMFDM was my first real show when I was a teenager. I'm not really into industrial butt rock anymore, but it was still a great experience. Also, my first Dead show was magical in indescribable ways.
If Rush doesn't tour again, just be glad you got to see them while they were!

He's playing a couple of shows in Perth, Western Australia soon (4th and 5th July) and I'm hoping to be able to interview him for my radio programme.
I've never seen him in concert but I saw a film of one of his concerts on a HUGE screen many years ago.

Later I had a few cocktails with her and some of the band at the hotel bar. That was neat..

Defiance, Ohio; SMUT; TEAM: Challenger Explosion; Two-Dollar Breakfast @ Trumbullplex Anarchist Collective, Detroit, Michigan, April 16th, 2005:
The best night of my life. For the above reason and many others involving the house, the people there, and the people I went with, specifically the girl I went with. License plates that say "puebla," Gabriel Tecon Hovey, The Promise Ring, tapes, Nik Vinsant, unknown highway construction, crazy black dudes who show up to Punk shows and have a ****ing AWESOME time, bums, spending all yer money, shoulders, knees, "the spot," lovehandles, beards. Kisses on cheeks. Singalongs. Screamalongs. Losing your voice, but not enough so you can't say, "C'mon, play Lullabies!"
If Rush doesn't tour again, just be glad you got to see them while they were!

I saw Springsteen back in 1984, too, and saw him play a couple times on his most recent U.S. tour a couple years ago. He still slides across the stage on his (now, surgically reconstructed) knees, and the boy can still rock. He may just have career ahead of him...
In no particular order:
Bruce Springsteen Born to Run tour small club in NY. and 84 tour
Jethro Tull, 68,69,70,71
Who Tommy, Who's Next, Reunion (post keith Moon)
Philadelphia Rock Festival, 69
in this order:
Al Kooper
Buddy Guy
Jethro Tull
Led Zepplin
Johnny Winter.
Little Feat show in DC (waiting for Columbus lp)
went to work at hospital where they brought
Lowell George after his heart attack (I was in ER)
I forget the rest (uh it was the 60's/70's OK?).
