I have a Jekyll 800 Full Suspension MTB that I used to use for work. I am thinking about selling it in favor of possibly a more agile hardtail or other. How much is it worth?

2004 XL Cannondale Jekyll 800
Full Shimano XT drivetrain
(Crankset, Deraileurs, Shifters, New Chain)
SRAM 11-34 rear cassette
Hayes disc brakes (hydrolic with brand new pads and rotors
Lefty 5 130 mm travel front fork, Fox Float RL rear with lockout
Front wheel hand built new (less than 30 miles) on lefty front hub, rhynolite 32 spoke
Rear wheel Mavic Disc 117
Thompson Elite Seatpost
Easton EC90 monkey bar handlebars with new grips

Full bike has less than 1500 miles on it, frame is in reasonably good condition a few scratches on the top tube. The bike rides flawlessly, like new.

How much should I ask if I was to sell?

Probably $1500 or more. I'm not really sure though, someone will know better than I do.

If you are thinking of getting another bike have you considered parting it and ebaying the frame plus lefty and stem? Might be a good way to save a little money if you are thinking of building a new bike frame up.

If you were to sell it as is, I'd say 1500 is fairly safe, might be able to get a little more for it.

I'd be surprised if you could get more than $1200 for it. I saw where several people had bought them for $1600 - $1700 last year (new). Most people that intend to spend over 1k, will simply add another few hundred to get a "new" bike, or at least I would anyway.... Super nice reviews, I think I'd keep it Dude!

How much should I ask if I was to sell?Ebay it with a G reserve and see who bites. Locally I wouldn't expect much more than a grand. You're best bet may be to part it out. Sold individually on eBay parts have a much higher potential profit than complete bikes
