There might be a very small advantage to being drafted up a hill, plus they're doing it much faster than you or I would.

I heard them saying last night they'd be doing 8 or 9 mile and hour up some of those hills.

Ok, I'm going with Klodi again.

In his interview on Eurosportsnews this morning, Cadel basically said he wasn't good enough on the day, not sure what is going on there but hopefully he can bounce back.

I'd probably be doing 8 or 9 kmh in those circumstances.

The 595 looks pretty trick especially the seat post. And it has a whole new fork too.

Floyd will defend but won't win the stage. Someone not in todays break will most likely snatch it.

I think the advantage is largely psychological ie. you don't need to think about anything else, just follow the guy in front of you. There is certainly no aerodynamic advantage at those speeds.

Alpe d'Huez. SBS cut to too many furkin ads while the race was on the last climb.

If I see that 'Skins' ad again with that bloke out of the movie Snatch doing the voiceover with his 'say it, don't spray it' speech impediment I'm gonna scream.

mmmm, Hitchy like!...unfortunately funds don't run to a new frame these days....so I'll just have to bust the 486 (again) & get it replaced under warranty....hmmmm 'big ring' hill sprints with a mate sitting on the top tube should do the trick! (again)

Or you could just go for a ride with me again, Hitcho.

Hang on pshaw, you mean I actually got some press from an Aussie mag? No friggen way!

That Look looks okay for Tupperware. Still, when you can get something custom and handmade for the same price, why you'd want to attempt to squeeze on to one of the 5 sizes available is a complete mystery to me. Blah blah blah, you know the spiel

It'll be cable tension and/or maybe the L screw needs a wee bit of adjustment. Most likely cable though. Try tightening the cable a wee bit till it stays in the big cog.

Don't people ever walk past a mirror, or bother to ask someone if they look like a dork?

They may sell some more team gear after next year when they become iShares. Their corporate colours seem to be grey.

Actually no, I don't know all this. When we started doing the Ti frames I e-mailled every publication in Australia saying "Hi guys, we're of one of only two companies currently sell custom Titanium bikes in this ******** land, isn't that cool" to which I got the response "Yeah, okay. Thanks. Keep in touch."

I recently sold a 221d to a guy in Sydney who writes for a few mags including cyclingnews.com, and he basically said to me that I would get no coverage unless I bought advertising space. So, essentially every "test" in cyclingnews is paid for, yet they don't say that on the actual "test" which breaches a dozen or so media laws as well as being unethical. Coz it's not news, it's advertising.

So there you go. cyclingnews.com = bullsh¡t.

However, Mountain Biking Australia and Cycling Australia don't require payoffs, so kudos to them for actually having some standards.

---

Existence, you need to adjust your rear derailleurs ability to move up, which usually requires a phillips head screwdriver and a little screw near the rear derailleurs 'knuckle' labeled either 'L' or 'H'. I always get confused which is which.
You'll know you've adjusted it to far when your derailleur gets eaten by the spokes or your chain slips off the top of the biggest cog and destroys your rear wheel.

None of which would be a problem when I put your 07 Record UT group on your Tephra CTi.

*evil laugh*

One of the oz mags - I think it was Ride - gave a dud review to a bike. Can't remember which brand, but they were a massed produced Al jobby out of Taiwan if I remember correctly.
Apparently there were threats of legal action over the poor review.
