Okay, so I have a Friday full of dramas, Wattsy takes the drama cake and every team in the farken Tour just let Landis go off the front.

Now, I'm not a genius and the guy was 8mins in arears, BUT that was a MAJOR cock-up, even I can see that.

When the telecast started and they said Landis is off the front, I thought "Cool, Sastre, Kloden, Dodger, Evans and maybe Menchov and Chicken and whoever must be with him, cool"

But NOOOOOOO, they let him go off alone.

Stupid gamble, too many indians, not enough chiefs as far as I'm concerned. Never underestimate a freaky guy from bumfück Pennsylvania or wherever. With the power of Jesus, you never know what can happen.

Well, Kotter has it as his sig, so I expect a PM from Poo Brown anytime now.

What's wrong with this picture?

What on earth is he doing to that saddle!

Still on the topic of Landis, has anyone else noticed his odd pedalling style? He sort of "flaps" his feet as he gets toward the bottom of the stroke, it was really obvious last night with Sinkewicz sitting so close behind him and pedalling in a more conventional style.

Dear Bikeforums,
I was wondering, should I pedal in circles, or pedal toes down, or should I push down with the toes on the downstroke and up with the ankles on the upstroke?

HELP! It's really confusing! Oh, and how should I steer? Should the handlebars move from side-to-side like that? Should my elbows be bent? Where do I put my hands? HELP!

Hey lookie that, it's true! I got some free press!

Hey! Didn't Rick Astley perform a song called "Disco Duck"? Is there a conspiracy here? Has Ed been secretly training Floyd using his collection of cool music? Enquiring minds wish to know.

I'm ashamed to admit that I can correct you on the Disco Duck thing Matagi. It was a seppo DJ called Rick Dees.

The 70s were a mix of the sublime and the truly ridiculous - the Rolling Stones finest years, the birth of punk and new wave, and *shudder* disco.

Rick Astley is as guilty of as many music crimes as Rick Dees.

Actually no, Rick Dees is far more perfidious, he's been spinning bad pop music and he does that horrible American Top 40 thing that gets syndicated around the world. Like we need to know what seppos are listening to.

The only time I really think about my pedalling style is when I'm struggling on the hills and tell myself to keep my heels down.

Headline from le Tour tonight.....

McEwen Pwns Ugly Arse Seppo Landis In Sprint Finish.

'Greatest ride ever - bunch sprints and the maillot vert are what its all about. Middle Australia can't understand this lightweight starve yourself to death go uphill fast stuff, particularly during an obesity epidemic', states all round tragic Ozzie PM, 'plus Landis pedals like a spazz'.
