I saw Crossroads about 10 times!! I even tried to learns all the bits.
Those were the days!!

Saw Steve Vai play at the Palace quite a few moons ago now. Good show - and much hair & tight jeans in the crowd.

I found a link to a sound file for the "cutting heads" duel from Crossroads on the net but it was played on a keyboard in a tinny electronic tone. Sounded weird.....

matagi 07-28-06 01:03 AM

One question - where in God's name did you get that shirt? The person who let you out the front door wearing it should be shot.

I lasted half a song before i put my ear plugs in. I pushed through to the front to get a close look, and when I stood in front of the subs, they were so loud the thumping made me nauseous and got my bowels moving!:)

Yep, those shows. and you are right, they were bloody loud. I reckon I would have seen you play around the traps at some stage 531 back in the old days - although Rocket was more the (cover) band of choice coz knew a couple of guys who played in it.

I don't know whether the shorts or the mullet are the bigger fashion crime :D

I was watching Campelltown Court one day in Legal Studies. (it was family court day) this wife basher shows up in court in an ACDC shirt and stubbies  the judge asks, "dont you have something more appropiate to wear?" the bloke replies, "my suit is dirty I had to wear it [to this court] yesterday."

I couldnt stop laughing, to top it off he had this huge mullet. I felt sorry for the wife though.

thanks, they were great!

I think I better keep my nose out of it for awhile, before I get banned.
Right or wrong I certainly have inflamed koffee. But to my defense I dont see why I should give respect to mods its a friggin forum site, go have a look at some gaming forums, now they are insanely harsh. Secondly she bought up politics first.

But meh what can ya do?

Yep. Out east for me. Juice - massive bogan hangout. :D Went out there for a NYE just after it opened & only darkened it's doorstep once after that. Must admit to seeing Scat at the Manhattan tho....:o

link please....531 sent me an email today with a quote from her, (i can't access the forums from work), that I was gunna get into her about...but I can't find it....something about defending Floyd & "he's innocent, you'll see"...

mrkott3r 07-28-06 04:20 AM

looks like you found it http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...=214055&page=9 I probably said some things I shouldn't have and those comments haven't helped my cause.

matagi 07-28-06 04:21 AM

It would be nice if he was innocent, but we shall see. There is some room for doubt regarding his positive T/E ratio.

The irony of course is that all the seppo's were advocating that Basso and Ullrich should be hung by their gonads for merely having their names linked with a suspect doctor, then Landis returns a positive test and suddenly conspiracy theories and all sorts of other excuses are trotted out.

Yes, you could probably have worded your posts a little more diplomatically. ;) :p
