WA is good, but people there seem to think everyone in the Eastern states has got something against them - which is not true, it's just that they are so far away that they are irrelevant to us

Unless of course, you have it in your subscribe list, then you just look in your user control panel and there it is.

But you are correct, scrolling past the first page and trying to sift through all the drebbige is far too time consuming.

Maybe a case or two of Magical Oz Brew will bribe a Mod to re-sticky it...or maybe The Australian Forum? That might take more than a case, though....might be worth it to miss the 'what bar tape makes you go faster' thread.

Well, if more people posted, then it might be worth being stickied. Of course, if the posts were there, then there wouldn't be the need to sticky it.

Hey, I missed that thread. Which bar tape is the fastest? And speaking of bars, what's the fastest way to sneak out of one if your bar tab exceeds the contents of your wallet? My bet's on the bathroom window.

If the bar's been open more than a week, the trash cans will be right under the bathroom window. Be creative, and fake a seizure. Being carried out the front door on a stretcher is a true display of panache.

either that or order one last beer then run trying not to spill a drop for the walk home, while trying to do your best impression of the Benjii Marshal teleport.

I had this housecat who was very fat, so I went to fixed feeding times, instead of 'on (constant) demand'. After about 10 days, the cat started telling me it was 10PM (dinner) in other earlier time zones. You're a human, and therefore (theoretically) smarter. Play with the date line: I'm sure it's 31Dec someplace!

Maybe you could change the title to "In Memory of the Aussie Thread"?

And yes, the mindless banter is still going strong on cf, but no whining about censorship. That would infer that we actually give a sh*t about something for more than a day or two....we have very short attention spans you know.

If they're not coming back, I'll probably lock the thread and that will be the end of it.

Hmmmm. This is an odd location... doesn't quite feel right...

CF is working out pretty well, but since Expat has done so much to keep TAT alive I will call in here and post the occasional pointless message.

Like this one.
