This place looks vaguely familiar....

classic1 10-19-06 12:19 AM

The old girl is back! (not you matagi):p

She's been abused, shoved from pillar to post, molestered, called names, subjected to racial vilification, panned, and resurrected. Wow.

62vette 10-19-06 02:56 AM

Just in time too. CF seems to have cacked itself tonight.

Did my first twilight race of the season tonight. Nearly missed the start having too long a warm up and had to hammer to catch my handicap group *smacks self in head*. I started at 3 minutes, we caught about half the riders ahead and stayed away from scratch which is all good. And I came second in our bunch sprint which is also reasonably good.

So...TAT is ressurected.....So back to our normal behaviour?...who's leaving the club house to go over & poke a stick at the seppo's & start a flame war...be just like old times! :roflmao:

Brian 10-19-06 05:07 PM

Welcome back.

ed073 10-19-06 05:25 PM

so what's been happening?

Plenty of....

"Are bibs better than shorts?"

"Will an Ultegra shifter work with D-A levers?"

"So I got passed by an arrogant racer today...."

"What's the best clipless pedals/saddle/carbon wheels/tyres/etc/etc...."

Wilchemy 10-19-06 05:30 PM

So we really haven't missed much then?

Brian 10-19-06 05:31 PM

Nope. Nothing's changed.

matagi 10-19-06 05:34 PM

So we can go back to CF and read about "should I wear a base layer" and "why do I need gloves".

Brian 10-19-06 07:39 PM

Zero effing degrees here.

Wilchemy 10-19-06 09:53 PM

Is that why they wear the "special" undies in your neck of the woods Exxy? To keep the cold out? :D

Brian 10-19-06 09:55 PM

Yeah, I flash the girls my undies all the time. I just pull my jeans up a bit, and you can see where they almost touch my socks.

Brian 10-19-06 10:02 PM

TAT is now stickied. What more do you want?

I guess "Not Australia" narrows down your address, shouldn't be hard to find then:)

matagi 10-21-06 03:08 AM

Nah, we can narrow it down even further than that - he's in Utah, where the sale of alcohol is strictly controlled 'coz the Mormons don't drink.:p

Although, interestingly, you can buy beer in the supermarkets there. Ok, granted it is that flavoured water the seppos call beer, but it does have a notional alcohol content.

Albert '55 10-21-06 03:24 AM

TOP has cracked again tonight at 6.45 when I was trying to have a look. So here for a quick gander:)

You can also buy it at nearly every servo. But no Sundee sales. I brought my Bundy OP with me. A little goes a long way.

Re Mormons and alcohol: Actually, the story goes:

Never only take 1 Mormon fishing...if you do he'll drink all the beer! If you take 2 Mormons though, all the beer will be for you and they'll drink lemonade!:D

Can't attest to the veracity, not being in Utah, but that's the old joke!
