Oh no! Now we're looking back on Lance's career! The only option left is suicide.
BTW, anyone tried playing the LA drinking game - you down a drink every time Phil Liggett mentions Lance. Reckon you'd be dead of alcohol poisoning by now.

Monteiths do make some nice ones. I'm a fan of the Summer Ale, even if it may just be a tarted up shandy. The bottle size is annoying though.

Beer on the other hand is made and enjoyed all over the world in freedom loving democracies.
Vodka = Commo = evil
Beer = democracy = good

I'd heard about people using LeWedges to fix that problem.

Everyone knows vodka is made by rosy cheeked peasants who spend their leisure hours frolicking in the fields making daisy chains.

sorry to drag this back to cycling again.
The jockey wheel on my rear derailleur is rubbbing (slightly touching) the spokes. Im guessing adjustment is required; do I just give the lower limit screw a half turn? Or is more required.
How **** was the stage last night. **** SBS for the crap at the start.
Whats the go with the commentary? Why is Basheer commentating when you can clearly hear Phil Ligget and Paul Sherwin commentating in the background?

Yeah, it's the 'L' screw that stops the dérailleur from going into the spokes.
Just follow along with https://sheldonbrown.com/derailer-adjustment.html or https://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=64 cos it's a good bet that it hasn't been done fer a while.

Fark, why no chattage about Voight's win last night fellas? Just watched the replay on sbs.com.au and it was INSANE.
Voight attacks twice, splits the leading group of four, then with 800 to go attacks again to try and drop Pereiro and still wins.
Awesome stage.

mmm either the wheel is stuffed or I am doing something horribly wrong.
I avoid potholes, the roads are fairly rough around these parts but not breaking potholes rough. (if thats possible)
the spoke broke off at the head at the hub. The bit that is bent 90 degree is still there its just the head that broke off.
The wheel now is fairly out of true laterally, I can't tell if its flat spotted. The thing is its windy today and I didnt hear it break so I could have been riding on it for a while, with a couple of downhill runs hitting 55kmh to 60kmh. I'll be surprised if the rim is salvageable.

Watched the highlights on Foxtel this morning, brilliant work by Voigt but WTF were Phonak thinking? Their tactics might turn around and bite them down the track.
Anyone catch the Tour de Suisse highlights on SBS at 12:00 today?

I reckon we could lose all that and just play the cycling with live sound instead of commentary and it would still be interesting (I'm assuming there's some sort of contractual arrangement between SBS snd Messrs Liggett and Sherwin which means we only get them for a fixed period of time, hence David Basheer's fill in commentary)

Alright, I deserve a bit of a spank for being clueless, but sometimes ignorance of current affairs is bliss. How long has Israel been at war with Lebanon? And what do those ****wits think they stand to gain by bombing yet another country's suburbs? As usual, our government's silence is deafening.

and the US blocks the UN from asking for a ceasefire. Nice work.
I like the way Israel has already drawn Iran's name into it as well.
Who's making the bombs and missiles Israel is using? Does destroying airports and highways qualify as targeting a terrorist group?

The fact that Islam was bourne from Judaism means that Jeruselum is sacred to both religions. Now, Isreal (full of Jews) owns Jerusalem and all Muslims hate them for this. The Muslim fundamentalists have therefor carried out a 'holy war' against Israel for the last however many years (not sure how long), which has been fought by primarily suicide bombings. Israel in retaliation has created a 'safe zone' around them by a 'big ass' wall, and then has bombed, shot, destroyed ANYONE they suspected of planning, facilitating, assisting or in any other way participating in the bombings.
The USA has 'assisted' Isreal by supplying weaponry and intelligence. Also, Israel has reportedly lot's of nukes which apparently the US has assisted in supplying the materials. You might ask why the US assists and then doesn't stop Israel from bombing. As far as I can tell, it's for 2 reasons. Firstly, the US have their own war with Fundamentalist Muslims and they don't want to 'nobble' their key allie in this war. Secondly, the Jewish community in the USA is VERY powerful, both with politic and economic influence. No one in power is going to mess with the Jews!!!
With respect to the recent attacks...this is a demonstration of absolute power by Israel. Israel is almost surrounded by Islamic States and they are showing the whole Muslim world that they are prepared to fight the Muslim community if they have to AND they have the fire power.
I don't agree with the bombardments but I wonder what we might do if we were in their position??
