Living 1 hour from the Sydney CBD would give you quite a commute on a daily basis. If you have your heart set on Sydney then so be it. However I would investigate similar employment opportunities in Melbourne. It is by far a more enjoyable city to live in and you are likely to obtain much more convenient accommodation IMHO. Good Luck with it anyway. |
yeah, an hour commute by train is nothing compared to what ive done in the states. melbourne is on the list but more for down the road. thanks for the info!

Just to add to what secondsaway has said .... Melbourne is also far more bicycle friendly than Sydney.
Where in Sydney will you be living - one hour by train covers a lot of territory. |
north of sydney, near wyong. just so you guys know im used to a 2.5 to 3 hour commute anyways.

Ha Ha Ha! Another one - our numbers grow.
There's a bunch of us from the Central Coast on the forums. |
sweet! we'll have to go ride and act crazy sometime! anyone got an extra track/road/fixie they dont need? (can't hurt to try) i'd like to bring my bikes over there but the cost is unreal!
