Just found the NZ/Ozzie section! CCM Flyte in NZ....

Only been on the forums for a few weeks for information and parts as I tackel the restoration of a 1937 CCM Flyte that has been in my family since new and I am thrid generation owner.

Only just noticed the NZ/Ozzie section!
Are ther many old bike nuts in NZ and Ozzie?
I would like to get a chainless early Pierce bike with suspension... anyone know of any down this way???

Regards
Gavin

Welcome to the Ozzie/NZ forum. Unfortunately there aren't too many of us around anymore.

Would I be right thinking that pre 1920 bikes are pretty light on the ground in NZ and Ozz?
I am guessing that while the 1890-1910 boom was happening in the USA we just didn't have the roads for them?
Anyone know of any down this way?

I've a couple of pre 1920s bikes. There aren't many around. Those that are are probably kept in collections or sheds.

Good luck finding the Pierce chainless. I imagine it would be a rare beastie anywhere nowdays.
