Garaged JC Higgins cruisers

Hey guys. New to the site. Any info on these bikes? Can't find much on this model. Chain guard just says "classic". Owner wants $300 for both. Seems real steep.

J.C. Higgins was a Sears brand for sporting goods, and they renamed the Elgin bike line after them. They haven't been sold in maybe 50 years so I think even not considering that $300 is a nice price for two clean and well maintained vintage bikes.

Grab your lady and go ride.
