Beach Cruisers Do you love balloon tires and fenders? Do you love riding the simplicity of a single gear and coaster brakes or a single gear cluster? Newbie here, nothing special cruiser here....rode this for a while as is, then got tired of the green/white paint.

No idea if fenders are going back on or not....I'd like to get rid of the rear derailleur setup and go with a 3 speed hub or something different to clean up the lines.

I'm sure I'll be changing my mind as the build goes on.

New member here!
Just bought a new Electra cruiser 7D all in black. I'm calling it the Darth Vader edition. Lol
I sold my Kona cruiser, gave me a back ache every time I rode it. The Electra, no back problems!

2013 Felt New Belgium Brewing
I had been looking for a cruiser and couldn't find anything interesting locally when I found this hanging on a wall in a small shop. I liked the 29" balloon tires and that it didn't look like all the other cruisers around. According to the guy I got it from it came from a collection of bicycles and some people collect all the models from this beer company. They recently stopped having Felt make them. I've seen them listed on ebay for crazy amounts of money that I can't see anyone paying.

My new ride. It's a Del Rio from Wally World. I call her The Red Dragon from the Mountain of the Lazy Fountain.

Of six bikes I own the 2013 NBB cruiser has been my goto bike for the last six months. I also have a 2014 and used to have a 2010 cruiser. I took the fenders and kickstand off of mine and put on some conti race kings (nouveau klunker) for flat single track and commuting, I just really like the geometry with those bars.

Good score!

If it's doing what you need it to do than I would say it's a great bike! Keep up the great work.

My Phat Cycles cruiser. Oddly enough, as often as I taken it to New Port and Huntington Beach I don't have pics of her by the beach.

Isn't it tough to ride a cruiser from Arkansas to the Southern California coast?

i put a little more in the tall cruiser thread, but here is my genesis 32 off craigslist

not too bad and being aluminum it's relatively light for a cruiser. the one thing i really like the taller bike for (i was on the coker monster at the time though) is i used it for a city group ride when it happened to rain. on my stretches i would have been drenched by other riders, but sitting so high i never got more than my feet splashed (and it has fenders, so i wasn't splashing my self or others much either). got it cheap enough to try, but i like gears. i think i'm going to try and get the 7sp version if i catch a deal.

probaly, or out of the same factory anyway. i was gonna write that the 7sp is a kent, and the single speed is a genesis, but i checked the walmart site and now they're all called kents. pretty sure it's the same bike though.
