Beach Cruisers Do you love balloon tires and fenders? Do you love riding the simplicity of a single gear and coaster brakes or a single gear cluster? Do you love the classic curves in the tubing of a cruiser that takes you back to the 1950's and 1960's, stylistically? Here's your home! Welcome to the Beach Cruisers and Cruisers forum!

YAAA!!! Finally a home for the Cruisers of the world!!!

I see that Cruisers now have a proper home here on BF. It's been a long wait.

Do you own at least one Cruiser?? Have you dressed it out??

As soon as I saw the announcement, you came to mind. I know you've lobbied for this for a long time. Congrats.

1) How long of a wait did you have for the Cruiser subforum to become a part of BF?

2) When did you become aware of the fact that the subforum had been added to BF?

3) Are you a happier member now that it has been added to BF?

It's about time! I happen to have two of them. A mystery torquois one and a 37 Schwinn Henderson. Both are going to be mild builds.

I was given a Zap electric bike by my local dealer, (brought in for service, still there a year later) the battery was dead so I stripped off all the motor kit and ended up with a BIG robust 6 peed beach cruiser . I installed a Whizzer seat from the rafters to cushion the ride. At about 40 lbs, it is important to keep 50+# in the tires . Total cost???? Got the motor kit on CL for $200 so I might make a buck on this one, Regards' Jack
