Schwinn Grips (with the Bubble Top)

Anyone know where to get the original Schwinn-style cruiser grips? I got the Sun-Lites because I just needed some grips, but they're not the same, with the little bubble thingie on the top. I don't seem to find them readily on eBay, either.

Suggestions?

I think I'm still on PM restriction since I have fewer than 50 posts. If you want to PM me with price and email address I'm interested.

I was wondering this as well, as I'm putting some touring-style bars on my Schwinn Racer, and I lost a pair on my old Sanctuary grips to time and weather. Since my company's doing year-end inventory today, I'll do some research...but if @ilikebikes has some for sale, I say go for it!

Update: For future reference, here's an excerpt from Schwinn's FAQs page:

"If you bought your Schwinn at an independent bike shop, please contact the shop to help you get replacement parts.

If you bought your Schwinn at a big box retailer or sporting goods store, please see the information directly below.

Call us to purchase parts you'll need a major credit card and must be 18 or older. 800-626-2811"

I'm not sure if they'll have that exact part, but I'd be willing to bet they do...in the meantime, do business with @ilikebikes...he's legit.

At least I still have a stray green glitter grip if one quits on Germaine...I still have the black ones that it came with in 1995 but they rub off on your hands.
