Beach Cruisers Do you love balloon tires and fenders? Do you love riding the simplicity of a single gear and coaster brakes or a single gear cluster? Do you love the classic curves in the tubing of a cruiser that takes you back to the 1950's and 1960's, stylistically? Here's your home! Welcome to the Beach Cruisers and Cruisers forum!

Jamis Cruisers

Anybody own a Jamis cruiser? Earth or Boss cruiser? I'd love to hear an opinion.

70's/ early 80s Jamis cruisers are incredibly hot. Newer ones don't really do it for me, but I'd push a BOSS if I had to. Pretty cool design, even if the frame is 6061. I used to work at a Jamis shop BITD, and the Earth Cruisers and BOSS bikes were usually pretty problem-free...

Love my '85 Earth Cruiser I found on the side of the road (bulk pick up day) last month. Had to put on a new seat and grips, but other than that nothing else so far. It got me back on a bike after 20 years, and will move to Key West once I get back to riding my brand new '94 Giant ATX.
