Please Help Identify Parts Needed for Bike

Just getting into cycling and wanted to get a good starter bike. Bought this Trek 1200 (black and green version) from a shady dude in the south side of Dallas out of a storage unit. Paid $150. Hopefully this isn't someone on here's bike.

It needs to be cleaned up and such obviously but when I petal uphill the chain skips. Thought I need a new cassette and chain, but for the life of me I can't figure out what to get and what I have.

This is what I do know:
Easton E9 ProGram Alum Alloy frame
Shamano RX100 gear system
Shamano SG Type A 53 and 42 Chainring

I thought the cassette needed to be replaced because the teeth look bent. I thought they also shouldn't look like shark teeth:

What kind of cassette do I have?

And what kind of chain will I need?

And what park tool do I need?

Your cassette and crank look fine... well-used but not worn out. Skipping problem is probably either the chain or the derailleur adjustment. New chain should be Shimano 7-speed (or whatever number of speeds on your cassette has).

1 . It a shimano freehub .
2 . You need a 7 speed chain . Any brand will work as long it said " for narrow chain " .
3 . For tools you need Parktools FR-5 and a chainwhip to remove the locking ring to remove the cassette .

clean it all up and take it to your LBS and have them do a tune up on it.
