Thoughts on the FSA Plasma Integrated Compact handlebar?

Picked up a new one for $250 and plan on installing it soon. Anyone here have one? What do you think?

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

I think that $250 is more than I'm willing to spend on a handlebar.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Well, based on the MSRP and the street prices I found on Google, you got a bargain. That said, I'm of the same mind as FBinNY. I also think $250 is a LOT for a handlebar and stem.

Cost aside, I'm not crazy about having the bar/stem relationship locked in place with no way to make personal adjustments. BTW, the reach and drop on those bars are identical to the FSA Omega Compact bars I have on a couple of bikes and they cost me only $30 each.

I bought a used bike that had a plasma integrated bar/stem combo. I'm still happily using it. Luckily it was fine for me. The downside is that you don't get any adjustability since you can't switch out the stem for one of different length and angle. You better get the right one the first time.

My thought is that it was $250 that went down the toilet.

Don't have/want one.
Makes as much sense as a frame that has an integrated seatpost "cut to fit", that is little or none.
Fit is dynamic, adjustments are required.
