Shimano 5800 right shifter problem

I started the conversion this weekend changing out the Groupset on my 2014 Roubaix from 5700 Groupset to a 5800 Groupset. The 5800 shifters are completely different than the 5700 shifters. I'm having a hard time finding any instructions for the shifters. I got the cabling done last night but the left shifter won't shift up or down. I think what I may have done is shifted the shifter into the wrong position before I installed the rear derailleur cable.

Anyone with experience on the 5800 groupsets?

Thanks Poon

Given that the cabling is pre-installed, not sure how you can mess up the install.

As you have managed to do this, would remove all the cables, and start from the begining, follow the DM & UM, and you shouldn't have any issues SHIMANO Dealer's Manual / User's Manual

Remove the cable. Make sure the shifter clicks both ways. Click the inner shifter at least 10 times to make sure it is in the highest gear, then install cable. Are you putting the cable through the same hole as you did for the left/front shifter?
