?? who makes/where to get HB 5775 wheels/rims ??
Hi everyone. I'm here with fingers crossed that someone can help me track down a set of wheels/rims. I was given a pair of tires that are meant for HB 5775 RIMS. I can't find any bike, rim or wheel set that is/has HB 5775 designation?
Any help is appreciated.

ISO 5775 discusses how rims and tires are supposed to be labeled. HB refers to a Hooked-Bead (I'm not sure how it compares with Crochet-type).
Trying to find wheels to fit existing tires is somewhat backwards.

I can't imagine HB 5775 being the only thing printed on the tire sidewall. Have another look.
If the tires really ARE that secret, the only sensible thing I can think of is to bring them to a shop, or to someone with access to several sizes of rims/tires and do a manual comparison.
A folding bead tire might be possible to pull flat, measure the bead length and make a useful guesstimate of which size it is. But a wire bead tire is too stiff to be folded flat and too flimsy to give a reliable diameter.

OK so you know one thing, namely that they're for hooked bead rims, which are the most common lightweight types out there. Since they supposedly conform to ISO standards, you should find a marking such as 25-622, where 25 is the nominal width, and 622 the rim it fits. here's more
If they're not marked, then they by rule are NOT in conformance to ISO 5775, since that clearly requires the ww-ddd marking on the tire sidewall. But all is not lost, you can measure.
for width, lay the tire flat, measure across bead to bead, add 20%, and divide by 3.14
the diameter of a wire bead is the average of at least two measurements bead to bead (use 3 or 4 if the tire isn't fairly round). Most sizes are far enough apart that you can refer to the chart in the link to know what they are, but some are close enough , ie 622 and 630, that you want to check the measurements carefully to be sure.

why are we assuming it's a bicycle tire, the OP gives us no clue as to proportion. maybe it's a 57x75. if so, it's probably a kid's wagon tire, and the OP is trolling.

Because it's a bicycle forum? Or Because 5775 is an ISO standard that relates to bicycle tires?

The tire is also marked 26x1.50. I think I'm going to abandon this tire set. I did a google search (web & image) before coming here and have found little - except an online discussion by another person who had the opposite problem - a poster with the wheel set (Dutch) that refused to comply with being mounted to a variety of tires marked 26 x (x).
I've recently found out that Schwinn has put their own standard into the mix.
Knowing that 26 x (decimal) does not run parallel with 26 x (fraction) I bought a pair of 26 x 1 3/4 = for an old CCM with an 26 x 1 3/8 tires. Boink! that plan was a wheels up landing, they are for Schwinn S7 rims. So, I'm on the hunt for 26 x 1 3/8 (which I think I can still get from Canadian Tire). This other rubber I posted about here was provided by someone who was trying to help out with the Willy Wonka world or bike tires.
Thanks all for your responses.

Anyway, the ISO or ETRTO charts I linked are ideal cross references that will allow you to convert tires with one marking into another. Tire makers also offer charts which list other sizes or other info. Search the internet for ETRTO tire sizes for more charts.
