Pedals just hang loosely. Junk bike but looking for advice
I have a Kent Lajolla women's bike. The sprocket has a bit of rust on it and the pedals just hang to the ground instead of being stationary as they should be. What would I probably need to replace or what is the possible cost of this? I would like this to be a spare bike for mysef. Ty

not sure what the op is talking about... maybe post some pics and describe in detail what the problem is.
