Hello,
I'm a newbie to the forum, but have lurked for a while, and found answers to many of my questions in the past.
I would like to thank you all for that.

Now to my question:
I've buying parts on eBay and working on making a new road bike.
The next step for me is to buy a crank; I’ve been looking at the FSA gossamer cranksets and have found one on eBay (it looks like the triple crank arms and the new K-Force chain rings, or maybe FSA has made a new gossamer with-out updating the pictures on their website)
Anyways it doesn’t come with a BB, and the only place I have been able to find a BB is:
https://www.competitivecyclist.com/za...Y.ID=189&MODE=
Now, the way I see it is I can spend 80-90 for the crank on eBay, and buy a BB separately for about 50 bucks. That’s nearly the price of one off an online dealer (like speed goat)...
Any ideas where I can find a cheaper BB? Or, if you would suggest buying something from a reputable dealer for about 15-30$ more.

I'm having a hard time trying to understand what BB will work with the mega-exo cranks, aside from the basic mega-exo's from FSA.

Any comments or input would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks again
Mike

Ok, so I suppose that’s a stupid question. I guess that it’s probably a better idea to buy it from an online dealer for 20 dollars more.

But I still do have a question:
If I need to replace the BB that comes with the FSA MegaExo cranks, is the one I posted a link to my only option for a replacement? (As I understand it the Shimano bb’s are not compatible, so I’m guessing so.)

Thanks,
Mike

I believe that all Mega Exo cranks come with the bottom bracket. A Gossamer shouldn't be anymore than $150 US even on ebay. Good luck

Aha!
That’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s cheaper than competitivecyclist.com ... that’s perfect, thanks a ton.

Yeah, i decided not to go with the crankset without the bb from ebay. It’s probably much more reasonable to buy one from an online store for a few bucks more.
Thanks a ton for the link and your replies.
