I have a feeling that top pedal already has a tab, so shouldn't need those.

This would bolt in the middle space on the edge of the pedal with the 3 spaces. Some campy toe clips had this tab integrated into the toe clip design and one would finagle the tab portion into that middle hole to properly mount the toeclip to the pedal prior to securing the hardware. The bolt-on version the OP has was for non-campy toe clips with out the tabs.

I'm not using the toe clips. It is sometimes annoying to flip the pedal to the top side. That's why i thought the guides could be helpful if I mount them right.

Can you explain a bit clearer what you think they are for and what you want them to do for you?
The picture I posted may not be all that clear but the guides you have get bolted in place on the front of the pedal with the apex pointed backwards toward the axle. They have nothing to do with flipping the pedal over, they were designed to make the front of the shoe slip past the top front edge of the pedal where a toe clip would bolt on.

No. As Greenfieldja states, these are intended to help guide your shoe into the toe-clip. If you're not using toe-clips, they will be of no use to you, and those pedals will be an enduring frustration. You may consider replacing them with two-sided platform pedals; you could probably recoup the cost of replacement pedals by selling the Campagnolo pedals.

Their Purpose is to slide the toe of your shoe into the toe clip over the front side of the pedal cage not flip it over .
Buy a double sided pedal if you are not fitting toe clips .. **
the Campy pedal jpg is of a Campag toe clip which centers one of those .. its formed from the dies cutting out the metal, then folding by another machine.
Ive done functionally similar cutting down a Toe clip to go on the inside of the pedal .. My touring Setup.
Those replace a Nut in holding the toe clip on .. I've got 3, one more and I could trick out my Old Lyotard 460D Pedals ..
Classic Cyclocross style
**Like collectible stuff?, Campagnolo made a BMX pedal set.. but MKS Is pretty darned Nice ..
