Campy Brakes -- What's this screw called? Where do i find it?
My Campy Athena rear brake is missing a screw that holds the right spring in place. Where the heck do I find this screw? I couldn't find the name for it on Campy's site. Please help...
Edit: Attached is a picture to help.

Caliper spring anti friction sleeve... I don't know what it's really called but the used pile of brakes at your LBS is where I'd start. Andy, once again mentioning the value of a LBS.

Well I am wrong once again. I had thought that you were talking about the sleeve that slide over the spring to reduce it's friction with the tab on the back side of the caliper. Now I reread and understand you're looking for the screw that is in about the same place, and acts on the spring to vary it's tension. (If I finally have it right).
There's a very good likelihood that the screw is a common metric size. Maybe an M3. Good chance a DYI or an industrial supply would have that. If you brought your brake in and already taken apart enough to access that screw hole a shop might be able to search through their loose bolts bin and at least discover the diameter and pitch.
But I have a question. Have you been riding the bike without issue for a year? Is the lack of this screw keeping the brake from functioning? I question if it's really "holding" the spring or just acting on it. There's a chance that the brake works well enough without this part. perhaps for centering purposes only? Andy.

Ask them to Order it, * if you need genuine parts..
You see the little cabinet with the displayed ring bound Campagnolo No.17 was 1974 (Book copyright date)
and the small parts drawers on the back side is all C&V collectors stuff now..
Out here Zero Campag stuff is stocked . cycletouring on Campag stuff , becomes a handicap in Rural areas as to the parts spares.
* or go with a High end Colorado or Portland based shop with an online and brick and mortar Extensive stocklist.
perhaps, as above, its a metric thread setscrew.. Auto Parts shops may be a source..
