Do TT bar-end shifters fit regular road bars?

I am interested in the sram 1x10 drive trains but I don't really like drop bars or regular flat bars. I am currently using a butterfly/trekking bar. Its okay but I don't love it. I was thinking of trying Rivendell's albastache. If that bar worked for me I can't think of a great way to use it with the sram 1x10 drive train. Would one of sram's TT shifters work? I looked at sram's site but couldn't find a speck for this. I looked up a few triathlon/TT bars but they didn't specify their internal diameter either.

You might find info easier on Shimano touring bike bar ends

I am familiar with them, but my understanding is that they don't have the same amount of cable pull as sram rear derailleurs, and that some sram derailleurs such as the sram x 7 have a clutch that helps stabilize the chain when running a wide range of gears on a 1x10 system. I am down to do a (probably cheaper) shimano 1x10 system, but I'd like to at least know if sram is an option with a mustache style bar.

Contact Rivendell. They should know.

My 2014 Novara Radonee has SRAM 500 10s bar ends marked 3V shifting SRAM X7 RD. They are in drop bars that by spec are FSA "wing compact". The only thing I don't like is that the direction to shift is counter intuitive to DT shifters as they are now installed the opposite direction to how they would be in aero bars.

I think that answers my question! Thanks!
