Frame wrapping

I got my bike retrofit with S&S coupling,I wanted to have green matt army color, the guy who did the job he didnt mention that this paint so sensitive to scratches is,so this really sucks,I am thinking to wrapp the frame with folie like this Kleb dir ein neues Bike - MOOXI-BIKE Fahrradfolierung ? Aufkleber für Radler mit Stil
or you can also buy in spray, and one have experience doing something like this?I am very frustrated after expending so much money all together cost me 850€
Thanks

This is what I use- I got it when I had my frame converted to S & S: Bike frame tube covers to protect a folding travel bicycle
I guess that you're in Germany so may be difficult to find it there however. This stuff does a good job though and you need to cover the frame tubes when packing the bike to prevent scratching.

I don't know the availability in Europe, but there are two-part catalyzed finishes designed for firearms like Gun-Kote, Duracoat, and Ceramicote, which are outstandingly durable, (relatively) easy to apply (you will need the equipment to spray finishes, like an HVLP gun,) and relatively inexpensive ( I spent less than $75USD on everything, including prep/stripping products and primer) as well. I just did my frame and fork a few weeks ago (Duracoat, frame in WW2 OD Green and fork in Matte Black.) The catalyzed finish means you can reassemble the bike and be riding it again within 24 hours.

Schoenen Gruessen, Gerardo. The paint may become more durable as it gets older and dries completely. Die Folierung sieht schoen aus, aber vielleicht zerisst sie?

There is a big difference between dry and cured. Paint can be "dry to the touch" within hours but will still scratch easily. Reaching full hardness can take days or weeks depending on conditions. If it is hot and sunny, leave the bike in the sun for several hours a day if that is feasible. I won't reassemble a frame for 3-4 days after the last coat of finish goes on and it gets extra protection for several days after that (no frame bags, bike carriers, extreme care with chains/cables/locks, etc.). Catalyzed coatings or powdercoat are the most durable but require special equipment.

Exactly. If you can still smell the paint, it isn't cured yet.
