Tire Tube question.

That'll probably work for you, provided you are matching the proper valve stem to your pump, and the hole drilled in your rim. What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to match a walmart quality tube to a good tire, or a good tube to an old tire?
I've noticed that all of walmart's tubes are only labeled 27 inch on the box, but when you open the box to look at the tube, you'll see that it shows a range of 700c sizes as well... other suppliers will usually list all the tire sizes that it should fit, to market their product to a maximum number of potential buyers.

Tubes can interchange where tires can't. 700c and 27" are close enough for the tubes to interchange, but make sure the valve matches. Wheels Manufacturing makes a Scharder to Presta insert.

Dan, my 700-28's have a shrader valve! Surprised me too!Rims are extra thick, my valve stem only only stick out maybe half an inch. If I'm in a town out in the boonies where a 700-28 tube isn't available, a department store should have a 27 inch tube.
