    TREK bottom bracket

    Could someone advise me on the size BB used on a 1997 TREK 7000? Thanks.

    VFR, it all depends on the crankset that you are using on it.

    Thanks for the reply. I have a year 2000 production XT hollowtec crank set I plan to use.

    The fc-m751 hollowtech uses a 113/118 octalink v2 BB-es70 bottom bracket 68 or 73 shell width.

    Thanks for the help. I have a question on the numbers. If the 68/73 is the BB shell width in mm, what is the 113/118? Thanks again.

    Spindle length. Use the longer with seattubes of 11/4" and greater diameter.
