Its time for us snow belt cyclist to get busy
Here it is the middle of Feb. Three of the four rotten winter months where we cant ride are gone. So------------now is the time to grab our bikes and do a full cleaning checking an lubing for the summer riding months. I completely go over the bike and trike, checking all bolts, lubing bearings that need it, remove the chain and give it a complete cleaning along with the rest of the drive train.
The point is right now since it is too cold or snowy to ride we have the time to do a total maintenance overhaul. It pretty much ensures that our summers will have trouble free riding. I dont like to have to walk the bike home because of some small thing that would have been easy to fix while I have the time. As they say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

What do you mean "we can't ride"? What's stopping you?
