Whelp... problem's now solved! My bike was stolen yesterday. I had parked it a local train station (which I have done many times) and when I came home from work it was no longer there. Of the literally hundreds of other bikes parked there some bastards decided to bolt-cutter through my lock. Its not even a "nice looking" bike which is why I have felt ok about locking it up. So, now they can ride around on my wobbly wheel. I was looking forward to using much of the good advice here to fix the problem. Oh well. Thanks anyway to all that responded. Now, I need to go and figure out what kind of bike I will replace it with.
