Brake levers to go with TRP Spyre disc

I'm going with bar end shifters (10 speed) on a bike that came with shimano sti compact crank (10 speed). So I need just plain road levers. I almost ordered the Tektro RL520, but I guess they are for mtb discs and v-brakes with a longer pull. Is that correct? I didn't know at first the TRP Spyre brakes were actually designed for road. I just assumed they were like the BB7 on my Surly trucker.

All I can find are the Cane Creek SCR-5C and Shimano Tiagra levers. Can anyone recommend one over the other, or have another option in the same price neighborhood?

Thanks again for the help. This has been a bit more involved than I had originally thought. That's what you get for being a retro grouch and not paying attention to anything in over five years. When I bought my Surly in early 2013 I thought disc brakes and 9 speed were all new-fangled stuff. I'm almost ready to just put a Deore 9 speed mtb group on the thing and call it done.

Tektro makes both short pull brake levers (R200) for use with caliper, canti, mini-V and road disc brakes and long pull levers (RL520) for use with V-brakes and MTB mechanical discs. You need the model that matches your brakes.

Most aero Road levers will do , doesnt have to be V type (Spyke Disc is the TRP V/Mountain pull Version )
