Stainless Steel
Does any one make a Stainless Steel frame / fork? If not, (I've never heard of one) Why not? Would anyone else buy one?

A quick search:
https://www.sandsmachine.com/a_rma_m2.htm
"stainless" encompasses a wide variety of alloys which are resistant to corrosion, with greatly differing properties. I seem to recall that on average, most alloys are not as tough as the best Chrome-Moly steels.

Unfortunately, stainless tubing is too soft to make a viable frame at a reasonable weight. I wouldn't be surprised if there were stainless lugs, but I doubt you will find stainless frame tubing. If you did, it would be expensive and heavy.
The closest thing would be Titanium.

The true advantage to a stainless steel bike is that if you manage to get it up to 88MPH, you can travel back in time.

I believe I remember a lugged SS Bridgstone of mid eighties vintage. I remember it was a bit portly compared to its Tange brothers.

Back in the early 90s, Columbus had a stainless tubeset called Metax. The only Metax bikes I saw were built by Rhygin up in Boston. Rhygin is gone now and so is Metax.
The bikes were pretty, but kind of chunky as well. Do a google search for Metax and you'll find some of those bikes still kicking around. I wish I had one ...
