Cantilever post replacement

I have a frame with both canti and disc mounts. I use discs, and would like to just pull the canti posts. However, that leaves a large threaded hole.

Anything out there designed to go there? A screw on dome reflector would be pretty neat. I can't find one though.

I've asked two. The average LBS has a remarkably low level of knowledge for anything non-standard.

It's not a very common item, so it doesn't surprise me the average LBS might not have or even know such a part exists (although how difficult is it to search Google?) Problem Solvers

Mmm, yes, I've seen that PS part. Not quite what I'm after. Hoping to find something like a small domed reflector. Something that looks rather finished.

Traditional reflectors are very directional. They can't be domed and if the reflector was flat, it would be pointing in the wrong direction for it to be useful unless it could be pivoted. Maybe you could cover a flatter plug with reflective tape ... or just cover the hole with a circle of reflective tape sans-plug.

If the hole is through-and-through, a car parts and accessories store will be happy to sell you some cover plugs intended to seal off unused holes for antennas, extra lights etc. Usually available in either black or chrome.

Suitable size rubber stoppers trimmed to fit should work.
