Help figuring out what spokes size I need

Hi everybody,

I recently ordered a fork to convert and old mountain bike into a cargo bike (Crust Clydesdale fork) and I need a wheel with the following:

-20 inch wheelset
-Disc brake hub
-9mm axle

So, I'm thinking I'm going to get a Shimano Deore Disc Hub M252A and 36h Hoffman Generator rims because both are on sale. But, then I don't know what size spokes I need and I'm having trouble figuring out the specs of both pieces online. Any tips? First time building a wheel so its all a mystery to me beyond spacing, wheel size, and hole count.

Buying spokes online too? This is where I buy from. Although I have not done so, they say you can call them for advice.

If I may make a further recommendation, these are what I most recently built my wheel with. They are recommended for cargo, tandem, Clydes (me), etc. Surprised how reasonable they are: Strong | Sapim with brass Polyax nipples Polyax | Sapim
