Problem

I just realized a few problems with my bike.

1.When I'm in certain gear, my front derauiler always touches the rail, and it makes a lot of noise. What should I do?

2.When climbing, it's kinda hard for the front gear to change and sometime it mishift. What's the problem?

Hope someone will help me.is it time for a drivetrain overhaul??

Go to www.utahmountainbiking.com, check Derailleur, front tune. While you're there, read up all the other mech stuff as well, every biker ought to be able to make these simple derailer adjustments. Helped me bucketloads. Also, try not to apply pedal power while shifting, just spin. Derailers don't like shifting under power, the cheaper the worse.
