Freehub/cassettehub???

Hello, this may be a stupid question. Is there a difference between Shimano freehub and Shimano cassettehub, and if there is what is the difference? Which typ is my -94 xtr hub? My -95/96 White Ind. hub?

Freehub: Shimano trademark for a rear hub in which the freewheel mechanism is built into the hub itself, rather than being part of the sprocket cluster. Most freehubs use a cassette of sprockets.

Cassette: A cluster of sprockets and spacers designed for use on a freehub.

So since shaimaNO has registered he name "Freehub" most every other hub manufacturer will use "Cassettehub" in place of the other name. So in essence ther is no difference just the name.

Thank´s for your replys. I wondered because I read in Cycling Plus july 2000 in the workshop piece about servicing Shimano cassette hubs, then in the februari number same year (I was reading back in issues) in the workshop section about Shimano freehubs. Looked to me they were serviced the same way and looked similar. Therefore I wondered.
