Quarq Cranks With British Threaded Bottom Bracket?

I purchased a used Quarq Elsa power meter with Quarq cranks. The cranks require a BB30 bottom bracket to be installed. So, the mechanic at my local shop, who is familiar with the frame I wanted to install these cranks on, informed me it would not work. I have a 20 yr old Waterford 753 Reynolds steel frame with English threaded bottom bracket. So, the axle on the Quarq cranks is 30mm. The opening on a typical external BB is 24mm, so the cranks will not fit through. But, I did some research and found the following: Rotor BSA30 Threaded to BB30 Steel Bottom Bracket. The ad reads as follows;
"Here, they (Rotor) are adapting English-threaded bottom brackets to their BB30 cranks.
English-threaded bottom brackets are also known as BSA. They have a 68mm shell width and a 33.6mm inner diameter. The drive side is reverse-threaded. For modern-thru-axle cranks, the bearings sit inside internal cups. Most of these cups are designed for 24mm thru-axles. This Rotor bottom bracket allows for 30mm thru-axles.
Rotor makes both the 3D30 and 3D30+ cranks with 30mm thru-axles. This bottom bracket allows you to install those cranks. It also allows for the installation of BB386 EVO cranks, pretty much only made by FSA.
The kit consists of two machined, threaded 7075-T6 cups. Inside the cups sit steel bearings with silicone shields. A conventional external-cup bottom bracket tool should be used to install the cups."

I am a novice mechanic so, possibly I am missing something. But could I make the Quarq cranks work with my Waterford which has a 68mm, English Threaded BB?
Thanks

The title is messed up, should be: Quarq cranks with British Threaded Bottom Bracket?

Spindle will be too short.
BB30 BB's are 68mm wide. A BSA30 BB will be around 86mm wide.

PF = press fit.. BB and threaded frame are incompatible..

'BB30' is tube spindle size, so you need a threaded external bearing BB with bearings with a 30mm iD, AFAIK

I guess I could take the power meter off and put it on different cranks. That would be disappointing.
Or, if it won't work, I will have to buy a bike to fit my cranks! haa haa

I don't think you understand the problem. The BB30 crankset is designed to work with a 68mm bottom bracket that has the bearings inside the bottom bracket. The BSA30 external bottom bracket has the bearings on the outside of a 68mm bottom bracket and makes the whole assembly wider than the spindle on your crankset. There is no way to make that crankset work on your frame.

The spindle will probably be too short. It should be pretty easy to measure though. You need ~90mm of open spindle (10mm+68mm+10mm) to mount using the Rotor BSA30 adapter. If your crank has that (which I doubt), you would be good to go.
