Bike Wash with Disc Brakes
Caught this GCN video showing a bike wash with hose, soap, and scrub brush.
It's appealing to get a bike this clean this fast, but I'm leery of the dreaded Disc Brake Pad Contamination Syndrome.
Is this technique OK for disc brake bikes?
Is there anything I need to do differently?
One idea - could remove the pads (would allow thorough cleaning of the calipers)

You can wash disc brakes with soapy water if you thoroughly rinse the rotor and calipers like is shown in the park tool washing video on youtube. Don't spray anything on them like polish and oil.
You could remove the wheel and put a plastic bag and over the caliper if you are concerned about contamination.
However you could get yourself a specific bike cleaner like the muc off nano tech one that won't contaminate the brake pads and rotors.
